Fatehpur Bazar: Complete Shutter Down Strike Observed

Fatehpur Bazar witnessed an extraordinary display of solidarity and resilience on September 2, 2013, as it wholeheartedly participated in a nationwide shutter down strike. The strike was organized in vehement protest against a recent electricity bill hike in Pakistan that had left citizens deeply concerned.


This united and impactful action was orchestrated in response to a country-wide call. Chairman Dr. Mumtaz Hussain,, conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated traders of Fatehpur Bazar who actively participated in the strike. Their unwavering commitment sent a powerful message to the government, emphasizing the importance of addressing the concerns of the people.


Dr. Mumtaz Hussain stated, "I am deeply thankful to all the traders in Fatehpur Bazar who stood together in this peaceful protest. Your unity and determination have shown that the voices of the people cannot be ignored. We urge the government to heed the concerns of the citizens and work towards a fair resolution.
